Amick Offices & Apartments

This project took an almost dilapidated existing downtown multi-use building (street level storefront business and an upper level apartment) that had not been used for years and completely renovated the interior and exterior. The south half of the east roof removed to provide an exterior courtyard for the upper apartment use and both the first floor offices. The interior finishes were completed by owner John Amick to be as close to historically accurate, from the push button light switches, light fixtures and wood doors and trim. John Amick, local lawyer and realtor, took on this project when most people held no hope for this building - it is now one of the jewels of downtown Doniphan.
