Loup River Distilling, in St. Paul, Nebraska, is a perfect example of repurposing a building while revitalizing their downtown main street location. Owners Eric & Maria Montemagni started construction in 2016. WCA provided architectural design services for fire marshal and ADA compliancy and code review. The building was formerly an apartment building and has been repurposed into a distillery, tasting room, full bar and the Barrel Room for group functions. Loup River Distilling opened in March 2018.
The Montemagni’s, utilize their own corn crop to produce corn-based spirits. Their motto at Loup River Distilling is “grain to glass”. Locals and visitors will enjoy crafted cocktails in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Learn more about their story here. www.loupriverdistilling.net
