Union Pacific Railroad Depot
pleasanton, nebraska
Groundbreaking for the Pleasanton Depot Restoration took place in 2012 with project completion in June 2013. WCA provided the architectural design for the historical project.
The Depot, in deteriorating condition, was likely going to be torn down. The Pleasanton High School Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America worked tirelessly to save the building. Over a period of eight years, through grants and fundraisers, the depot was renovated.
The building was placed on new footings on its original site at the Pleasanton City Park. The interior of the depot was restored with historic finishes. It currently houses a historical railroad museum.
